After a long career in financial services, Cameron became increasingly concerned by the difficulty taxpayers face in understanding how billions of dollars devoted to homelessness are spent — and, just as importantly, whether those investments are producing meaningful results.
He founded BeaconStone on a simple principle: public programs should be judged not only by how much they spend or how much activity they report, but by independently verifiable outcomes.
Through research, public education, and advocacy for stronger independent oversight, Cameron is working to make complex systems more understandable and accountable to the people they serve.
